The cycle route runs along the dual use
pavement of Portland Terrace & Titchfield
Road in Troon. From here beautiful views
of the bay and the island of Arran are to be
seen. Just round the corner northwards is
Betsy's Kirn which is a rocky inlet formerly
used for bathing. A little further on is
Ballast __ made from the ballast that
ships carried for stability.
